About Me

My photo
I'm finally moving towards owning my own painting company, after wanting one of almost 25 years. I've been gaining experience of painting for others for years, which I've truly enjoyed. I'm back in school, earning another degree, but this time in Business. By having the knowledge of the behind the scenes in business, I feel I'll have a greater advantage in direction I'm headed. I look forward to overcoming obstacles and moving toward my goal of being a successful business owner. The purpose of the blog is to track my progress, from overcoming my fears, to tracking my successes.

Book Tag

I was tagged by Amy. I think this is interesting to see what we all read. So here is how it works.

1. Pick up the nearest book (that has at least 123 pages)
2. Turn to page 123
3. Find the 5th sentence
4. Post the next 3 sentences
5. Tag 5 other people

Book of Mormon, page 123, 5th verse (each verse is a sentence)
12 "And now I, Jacob, spake many more things unto the people of Nephi, warning them against fornication and lasciviousness, and every kind of sin, telling them the awful concesquences of them.

Wow! of all pages and of all sentences! I now tag Mary Kate, Granny, Rachel, Kim, and Chris

As the words came out, she recognized him. "Why, yes, Neely, how are you?" He figured his name had been mud in the house for so long, he wasn't sure how he'd be received. (Bleachers - John Grisham)

I think Richard did that comment. I can;t think of a book that I have read in the past week that has had 123 pages in it....oh wait...I did read to Fia a chapter book I could use. Most of the books I read are picture books to my preschoolers!

Ha...the book closest to me is one Amy just brought to me to read to her. Care Bears Storybook Treasury

"He decided to hide the treats so he could have them all to himself."

Don't worry the story gets better-he does learn to share. Whew! It's a pretty intense story there for a while though ;)
