About Me

My photo
I'm finally moving towards owning my own painting company, after wanting one of almost 25 years. I've been gaining experience of painting for others for years, which I've truly enjoyed. I'm back in school, earning another degree, but this time in Business. By having the knowledge of the behind the scenes in business, I feel I'll have a greater advantage in direction I'm headed. I look forward to overcoming obstacles and moving toward my goal of being a successful business owner. The purpose of the blog is to track my progress, from overcoming my fears, to tracking my successes.

From Verizon to Rolodex

With the reality of our journey setting in, the time has come for us to cancel our cellphones. As you can see, both phones have seen better days and why continue to pay over a $100.00 a month when we can't use the phone anyway? How did we ever live our lives without our cellphones? We'll soon find out! With Forrest in sports, I'm sure we are going to have to get some kind of plan. We just do not want a $100-120.00 month bill each month like we have had for the past 3 years. The saddest part of turning off our phones is that I can't retreive any of my contact numbers because my phone is in two pieces. I have lost so many numbers... George can still retrieve his, but that doesn't help me at all!. Please email me your contact numbers and I'll put them in our new rolodex!

Cell phones seem to be part of peoples bodies now days. I carry mine around and it is handy to have, but I get irritated if anyone call while I'm driving. I hope you are feeling much better now, Trudy. I love you truely.

You could buy a prepaid one. We went to a Mitt Romney Rally today ( go mitt!!), and everyone has their cellphones calling people trying to figure out where they are,and using their cameras on their phones. I thought what did we ever do without them.
